April is Architecture Month and AIA Triangle is celebrating by exemplifying the importance, beauty, and significance of architecture in our communities. Local architecture firms are opening their office doors for the April 2nd Friday ArtWalk! Stop by the firm offices to see models, photos, and plans of their projects & meet the architects! See below for a list of the firms: 

Szostak Design
Come visit Szostak Design, an award-winning architectural firm based in downtown Chapel Hill. Led by principal Philip Szostak, the firm is well known for its unyielding commitment to design in a variety of project types including performing arts centers, recreational and fitness facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities, and single family residences. Located at 310 1/2 West Franklin Street.

Tise-Kiester Architects
TKa will be participating in the 2nd Friday Art Walk / Firm Crawl in support of the national architecture month. TKa has proudly been a part of the Chapel Hill community for 30 years. The practice works primarily in three states. Firm concentrations include historic restoration, affordable housing, religious facilities and community centered business development. Located at 119 East Franklin Street, go up the stairs next to Varsity Theater!

Leo Gaev Metalworks & Moment Studio
Architectural fabricator Leo Gaev Metalworks is open for the 2nd Friday ArtWalk and Architecture Firm Crawl and is pleased to host the architecture and design practice Moment Studio for this event. Leo Gaev Metalworks, located in the heart of Carrboro at 102 Lloyd Street, creates one-of-a-kind, commissioned architectural metalwork for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients nationwide. Moment Studio is a full service architecture and design practice that combines conceptual and architectural research projects along with conventional architectural work.
